Leslie Blanton has been an artist all her life. She began to draw pictures at a very early age and still loves to sketch and draw, especially cartoons. To fill the time during the lockdowns in 2019, she kept busy by creating assemblage art from found objects, including magic wands. (Leslie’s CV19 Art Gallery section is currently under construction.)
Her creativity also flows into her writing, and she is working on her autobiography, pulling from a lifetime of journals and getting warmed up in her new blog, Selfhoodlum. (Blog is currently under construction, apologies. It will soon be live.)
Leslie is a highly sensitive and spiritual person. She was baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal church, and later became a Buddhist, too. She discovered she is a psychic medium at the age of 64 and self-identifies as a Heyoka Empath.
Her spirituality and philosophical nature led her back to reading tarot cards, which she originally took an interest in while living in Los Angeles in the 1980s. But it wasn’t until the lockdowns of 2019 that she picked up her deck again and really got into it. In 2022, she created her first Youtube channel, Pearle Snapp Tarot. Selfhoodlum came along in 2025.

Being a retired graphic designer with a long career behind her, Leslie naturally wanted to create her own card decks! She has been developing two Kipper decks, which include extra cards in addition to the traditional Kipper cards. One of is made with AI generated images; the other showcases Leslie’s original collage art. She also plans to produce a playing card deck and an intuitive Oracle deck. In the future she would like to design some tarot card decks.
